Internet Marketing Education

While many entrepreneurs find ways to get an education in finances, investment, small business ownership, and other useful topics, they omit to get an education in the marketing aspect. This is even truer with internet marketing entrepreneurs.

Internet marketing entrepreneurs often don’t realize how important the marketing aspect is for their income and overall success. They actually think that they will get by, having only a vague overview knowledge when they really should have an in-depth knowledge of it.

In order to be successful in the online business, getting educated in that aspect is the key to making your business successful, and since it is that important, getting that education from the right source is essential as well.

The only dilemma you might run into, unless you have already heard of some good sources is where to get that knowledge and how to recognize the good teaching sources from the not so good ones.

A very good and easy way to be able to pin point a reliable source of internet education is

Considerations Before Enrolling in Education

Earning a degree is a good way to better your prospect in life. It is, however, not easy to go back to school especially after being in employment for several years. This is because further studies call for many sacrifices including giving up on personal commitments such as family and education guide.

But thanks to the Internet, it is now possible to reach your educational goals from the comfort of your home computer. Popularly referred to as distance learning, online education enables you to advance your about education online without having to quit your full time job or abandoning your family.

Before joining any online college or university, you take the following considerations:

1. Accreditation – Accreditation refers to a validation process by which schools, colleges and universities are evaluated against established standards to ensure a high level of educational quality. The accreditation status of the college is very important as it determines whether or not your degree will be recognized by other future employers.

Since it is very unlikely

The Montessori Education System

In Pedagogy of the Oppressed, Paulo Freire talks about what he calls the banking system of education. In the banking system the student is seen as an object in which the teacher must place information. The student has no responsibility for cognition of any sort; the student must simply memorize or internalize what the teacher tells him or her. Paulo Freire was very much opposed to the banking system. He argued that the banking system is a system of control and not a system meant to successfully educate. In the banking system the teacher is meant to mold and change the behavior of the students, sometimes in a way that almost resembles a fight. The teacher tries to force information down the student’s throat that the student may not believe or care about.

This process eventually leads most students to dislike school. It also leads them to develop a resistance and a negative attitude towards learning in general, to the point where most people won’t seek knowledge unless it is required for a grade in a class. Freire thought that the only way to have a real education, in which the students engage

Current Education Tramples the Mind

Not a day goes by there is not an article in our local paper on our local Public School System. If it is not a cry for more money, it is complaints over poor attendance, or that many local teachers are not fully qualified. While some schools are being “demoted,” others are being “promoted.” First, one thing and then another. Obviously, there is something amiss in our current approach to educating our children.

Other articles in the local newspaper carry reports of the increased interests and energies being expended by the “little” people to end the imminent threat of our own government by the increasing invasion of our private rights in the name of protecting the people from inside terrorism. People are grouping at the grass roots level to petition their respective government representative, the President and members of Congress, to end these daily threats to our lives. They are sick to the bone of living in daily fear of imminently undermining the guarantees of our Constitution. We need to adhere to Franklin D. Roosevelt’s, Four Freedoms: Speech, Worship, Want and Fear.

Strategies to Transform From a Trainer to a Workforce Educator

Corporate training has tremendous potential to promote learning in organizations. There are two primary elements that are responsible for how much potential is realized within the corporate training classroom, and those elements are the materials provided and the method of delivery. An instructional designer, or someone in a similar role, can develop engaging materials but if the delivery is not well executed, the training will not be as effective as it could. In contrast, if the training materials have not been designed in the most engaging manner, or the material is technical in nature, it is the trainer who can still create positive classroom conditions that are conducive to learning.

There are two types of trainers that can be found within organizations that choose to invest in learning and development. The first is a trainer who adequately delivers the required training materials and meets the minimum requirements for their role. The other type is a trainer who has evolved into someone who has a much greater impact on the learning process within a training classroom, a trainer who has transformed into a workforce educator. While it may seem that both are performing the

Your Kids Need Modern Teacher-Educators

In a separate article, titled “Is Your Child Learning For School Or For Life?”, I explain why I believe every parent needs to emphasize for his/her child, the acquisition of knowledge/skills that will enhance the child’s ability to succeed in the real world, OVER mere academic ability.

The traditional educational institutions of old (which were mainly geared towards feeding industries with employees), had teachers concentrate on “moulding” learners to meet employers’ requirements.

Teaching methods were generally rigid and rote learning was emphasized – with dire consequences for learners who did not have the “stomach” for it. One notable example which proved the inefficacy of that approach was Albert Einstein, whose failure to demonstrate “learning” competently via memorization made teachers call him “dull-witted”. How ironic, considering that today, the same person is regarded as one of the greatest minds that ever lived.

Incidentally, Einstein did have a few things to say himself about the “Old School” teaching method. Reports have it that once, when asked the question “What is the speed of sound?” by a reporter, Einstein replied: “I don’t know. I don’t carry information in my mind

Learning Guides a Great Addition

Learning guides are a very useful medium for delivering flexible delivery when the topic and circumstances are conducive to it. According to Bruhn and Guthrie (1994), a Learning Guide is a ‘structured booklet designed to direct the learner through a series of learning activities and to a range of resources to achieve specified competencies or learning outcomes”.

A learning guide is not a ‘how to’ manual like manuals that accompany television sets, microwaves and computers etc, but they may be used in conjunction with them. The key focus of learning guides (hereafter ‘guides’) is that they guide users through a structured learning experience. Manuals don’t do that, they simply provide a number of activities users can follow to get certain outcomes. An example will highlight the difference.

On one occasion I used guides to cover a half dozen or so small topics that were important, but which did not warrant group training sessions (I later redeveloped them as computer based instruction modules delivered online). This was in an organisation that had six offices spread throughout the Northern Territory (Australia), two of which were remote. Costs for training delivery were often very high

The Real Deal of Successful Collaborative Teaching Between ESL

Nowadays, it makes so much more sense for teachers of ELLs working in faced paced classrooms to collaborate. Teachers need to learn from other teachers what works especially when it comes to supporting struggling ELLs. But this is not such a simple task. As Henry Ford said, “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” For supporting ELLs, this collaboration never had a more meaningful role in supporting struggling ELLs learn how to read. I think new teachers especially, become frustrated when they don’t use collaboration strategically, but when they get to build on their collaboration, their interest grows.

Teachers can learn from other teachers who work with ELLs in either a general education class or small ESL learning group. They can create supportive learning and working environments when they know the various ranges of activities that have worked successfully for ELLs. They get excited about adapting activities when it can help their ELLs become more proficient readers and decoders. They learn collaborative strategies by collaboration. The key is to put the teacher as the learner.

My first and second grade ELLs enjoy oral work

The Best Wine Guide for Beginners

People who grew up in the wine sector, or have received some training at home or at a culinary school are comfortable with the subject of wine. People who have little exposure to wines are often frustrated and uncomfortable talking about it, or choosing a bottle for a good meal. People should feel comfortable enough to make wise selections. There are several ways a person can learn and understand more about wine.

Wine Guide

There are numerous amounts of books on the topic of wine. However, whilst extremely professionally put together, they shared a common fault – too much information. Self Learning

Teaching in Further and Higher Education

‘Casualisation’ in Further Education

According to Norman Lucas (Vol.28. 2004) in his article The ‘FENTO fandango’; national standards, compulsory teaching qualifications and the growing regulation of FE college teachers, further education has moved from a sector characterised as being “in a state of benign neglected” by central government to one, which is increasingly becoming more important and regulated during the last decade. The article critically analyse’s the developmental changes taking place in initial teacher training and continuing professional development in accordance with FENTO, together with the introduction of compulsory teaching qualifications amongst other initiatives implemented by DfES. The article illustrates the positive elements of the developments, but conversely argues of the potential danger of over regulation in an area which is largely concerned with the diversity of learners and learning contexts. The writer of this article feels that, seeking policy direction for the next decade or so may prove precarious as it is difficult to embrace the concerns of those who appear to have little opportunity to voice opinion – the teaching academics and the students. Oftentimes, the debate focuses on funding, which inevitably colours the final policies.

The magazines list the various price ranges and discount offers classified by store names and time periods.

The magazines often employ consumer goods critics and thus, when
